My name is Henry Steckman, and I am a junior at Avenues: The World School. I lost my father to cancer at the age of 13, an experience that introduced me to the challenges and hardships associated with grief. This difficult period highlighted the significance of having people who genuinely understand what you are going through. Inspired by this realization, Xander and I founded this organization to create safe spaces for students with similar experiences. We aim to unite these students to navigate and work through the grieving process collectively.
